Lookout includes instructions for quilts in three sizes, each featuring a single bear, rabbit, and deer block among a forest of tree blocks. Each block measures 8" x 15". All fabric is rotary cut and sewn together using conventional patchwork piecing. Please refer to the pattern back image for quilt sizes and materials requirements.

This pattern also includes diagrams and charts showing all of the pieces needed to make each block style. You can use this as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects.

The three animal blocks includes some small pieces. The pattern will walk you through the process of sewing them, with both diagrams and written instructions for each step. The tree blocks are made of comparatively larger pieces that are simpler and faster to put together.
